Independent Day School-Corbett Campus Cross Country Warriors Leading The Pack

Independent Day School-Corbett Campus enjoyed a solid 2010 cross country season, consistently being in the top four of every Division within the Florida West Coast League (FWCL). The team’s numerous hours spent training were rewarded at their final FWCL meet with many of their times being personal bests. IDS had countless top-ten individual finishers throughout the season.
On Friday evening, October 15, 2010, the IDS Warriors Cross Country team participated in the Pre-State Invitational in Dade City, Florida. A special congratulation goes to Daniela Nasser, who finished fourth among girls’ middle school runners for the 2-mile race with a time of 13 minutes, 37 seconds. Her time qualified her for the first ever Middle School State Cross Country Championship in Lakeland on November 13.
