Independent Day School Concession Stand Dedication— Dale Payne’s Warrior’s Oasis
For immediate release: September 30, 2010 Tampa, Fl
Dale Payne’s Warrior’s Oasis-signage, Dale’s family, IDS students, Dr. Swarzman’s announcement and unveiling of sign.
On a clear September morning, the entire Middle School gathered on Buchanan Sports Field, to dedicate a new concession stand, Dale Payne’s Warrior’s Oasis, to the memory of IDS parent Dale Payne, who was the husband of Angie Payne and the father of sixth grader Jordan and Multi-Age Brilliant Bug, Makayla. Dale was a dynamic individual, loving husband and father, as well as an adventurer.
Angie’s company, A AAmerican Container, donated a special storage container that they transformed into an amazing concession stand for IDS in Dale’s honor.
Parent Kim Cogar, from Allied Graphics, designed the creative sign that hangs on the concession stand, and parent Luiza Torra, with Torra Photography, captured the dedication with beautiful pictures.
Many students, teachers, parents and visitors from other schools will be able to enjoy refreshments at The Warrior’s Oasis because of the generosity of the Payne family.
