More and more research connects the ability to accelerate the learning process by making meaningful connections with music, art, physical education, international languages, technology and the draw of an inviting media center. The research on the brain is both obvious and enlightening. As Marilee Sprenger, author of Learning & Memory, The Brain in Action, explains, “The brain has everything to do with learning and the more we know about brain science, the easier it will be to make the hundreds of decisions each day that affect our students.” (Sprenger, 1999)
Our Specials Staff validates the research findings by their ability to bring joy, imagination, creativity and energy into the lives of our students.
